The need to re-establish the social housing policies in Zambia was the main goal to these multidisciplinary study. Using several approaches to the urban design applied to each plot allowed us to create multi-use plots that contribute to a more vivid life in these new cities mixing the housing with commerce, landscape, office buildings, etc, avoiding the old concept of zoning. Deploying circulation strategies that focus the use of bikes, public transportation, the reduction of the use of cars as well the investment in agriculture are some of the major points to implement a sustainable growth.
